There are several places you can visit to satisfy your hunger of art in Kemang, where it is not only place for business but also a place for art and these are three recommended art galleries you can visit during your stay at Kemang.

Dia. Lo. Gue Artspace

One of the most renowned art galleries in the area. It’s a contemporary art center offering rotating exhibits, classes and lectures. The building itself is a piece of art, it’s a combination of indoor and outdoor where you can also find a nice café with an incredible menu to hangout in. After entry, your eyes will be spoiled with many artsy stuffs such as clothes, handicrafts, paintings, etc. that you can take home as souvenirs, for a price of course. This place also throws an exhibition from time to time, you can always check their latest and coming-up exhibition in their website or instagram.

Edwin’s Gallery

Legendary is the perfect word to describe this gallery. This place was established since 1984 by Edwin Rahardjo, starting from a small photo studio in a garage with a small gallery, now stands strong on a 2000-meter square land with an exhibition hall, the exterior of the building adopts ethnic Javanese style with a contemporary interior. They organized more than hundreds of exhibitions from more than three hundred artists of several generations, their contribution in the world of art is reaching international scale, so I guess this is the must-visit place for fellow art lovers or whoever wants to know more about art.

Hadiprana Art Centre

If you think Edwin’s Gallery is the only legend in town, then you are so wrong, Kemang also has Hadiprana Art Centre since 1997 which includes Hadiprana Gallery which was established earlier in 1962 and Hadiprana Design. Founded by Puri Hadiprana with a mission to gather like-minded and creative tenants through its space leases, since then she managed to build Mitra Hadiprana, an art and lifestyle concept. As an Art Boutique Mall, this place has been the house of selected high-quality arts, handicrafts, paintings and artifacts. You can always bring your friends, partners or families to visit, because it will show them that art is not a boring thing to do even for kids! Can you believe that? Yes, you should, because they also have art classes for both youths and adults that brings joy to your life.
